Ormer Mayfair is located in luxury boutique hotel, Flemings and offers a menu bursting with a wonderful bounty of Channel Island and British fare that is simply prepared and cooked to perfection. Created by Michelin-awarded chef Shaun Rankin, the kitchen is led by Head Chef Kerth Gumbs who has created an array of set lunches, seasonal à la carte (including dedicated vegetarian and vegan menus) plus a seven-course tasting menu which showcases sustainably-sourced, locally foraged and seasonal produce.
Shaun Rankin received a Michelin star in 2005 for his first restaurant in the Channel Islands. He held this for eight years until the launch of his second restaurant in 2013 for which he was awarded a Michelin star just four months after opening. Ormer Mayfair continues this celebration in the accolades it has received since opening. Shaun Rankin and Kerth Gumb’s love for the Channel Islands and their local food is reflected in the Ormer Mayfair menu by offering seasonal produce including fresh lobster, crab, oysters, hand dived scallops, Jersey royals and hand-picked shoreline foraged herbs.
