Often described as the ‘doyenne’ of family law, Sandra is the go-to for high-net-worth cases. Over the past 40 years at Mishcon de Reya, where she is Head of Family, she has developed a practice renowned for its expertise in complex, multi-jurisdictional issues which can involve significant trusts, business assets and partnerships. Sandra's clients are often in the media spotlight, and have included Jerry Hall, Thierry Henry, Tamara Mellon and, notably, Diana, Princess of Wales.

Wise and empathetic with a backbone of steel, she pushes boundaries and finds bespoke creative solutions. 

Sandra is passionate about children's rights and has campaigned alongside charities such as Place2Be to promote the voices of children in the divorce process. Prioritising the needs of clients’ children, she promotes co-parenting relationships to encourage communication, leading to quicker, less painful settlements.

Sandra encourages alternative forms of dispute resolution before cases reach court. However, when disputes do go to court, Sandra is an experienced litigator who fiercely defends her clients' interests. Sandra works closely with her clients to understand their personal circumstances, helping them to navigate their way through the process and seeking to leave them in a more positive place than when they first came to her.
