Jo Edwards is a pioneer in finding less confrontational routes to resolving issues arising on divorce or separation. She guides clients through the process by taking a conciliatory and compassionate approach, whilst always retaining an unwavering commitment to protecting their long-term interests. Jo helps couples to find solutions outside court processes by exploring creative options through mediation or collaborative practice, but she also has extensive experience of taking cases to court, in relation to financial and children issues. By having a wide array of experience in different process options, she is adept at helping families reach the best arrangements for them and their children using the process most suited to the individual case. She also has considerable expertise in advising couples and their families on pre- and post-nuptial agreements, particularly where couples have complex and/or high-value assets.

She previously held the prestigious position of Chair of Resolution, the national family lawyers' association and is a high-profile champion of the modernisation of family law in England and Wales.
